I’ve been involved with sports and fitness throughout my life. I played hockey and baseball for 15 years growing up. I went into college not playing competitive sports and so I felt I needed to start some sort of exercise program, but I didn’t know where to begin.
After a few years of trying to get in shape on my own, in 2013, I was introduced to CrossFit. It was an instant match. I started training more and more as I noticed how well my body was responding to the program. And 2 day a week workouts became 5 days a week with 1-2 active rest days.
Since I was introduced, I have done multiple competitions and competed in the Crossfit Open. The group training, comradery, and methodology behind CrossFit is what draws me to this sport. I decided to get my CrossFit Level 1 certificate because I want to help others achieve their fitness goals and unlock the great potential that exists in all of us.
